We packed up the camping gear, which was all that remained in the house only to find we were in desperate need of a rooftop carrier. Saying good-bye to Morro Bay was bittersweet but we were ready for the much anticipated road trip. Beth spent one last lunch with her co-workers while Robbie got the much needed luggage carrier and a car tune up for the elderly Jimmy.
Then we were on the road, traveling north to Santa Cruz, CA to spend the next couple of nights with Justin, Beth’s brother and Charlie, Justin’s fiancé. The first evening was nice and relaxing celebrating their recent engagement with a few glasses of wine, a yummy dinner and a nature flick to prepare for the museum trip the next day.
